American Triple T – ACK!

20 05 2010

With bags all over my living room I can no longer live in denial that I am in fact doing the American Triple T this weekend.   What is the American Triple T?  (from the participant guide):

What can you say to that other than OH SHIT!  We will be approaching it as a long training weekend.  My plan is to nail my nutrition and go at a solid 60 – 65% all weekend.  There is a lot of packing and prep that goes along with getting ready for a logistical nightmare of a race like this.  There should be a lot of training going into a race like this, but that just didn’t happen.  Instead I am throwing myself full throttle into the planning and packing : )

It looks like it might be a wet race, but I’ll take lots of wet soggy photos and video and give a full report on Monday (o-k, really Tuesday – who am I kidding!)

Did the sprint go off tonight? Or was it raining? Any word on a delay for tomorrow? Thanks.
