10 Reasons to do REV3 Costa Rica 2011

4 05 2010

1.  I’ll be there!  (well, that one is obvious!)

2.  Can you imagine biking for 56 miles while looking at this:

3.  So many choices:  Sprint on Sat. Feb. 19, International on Sat. Feb. 19th, and a HalfIron on Sunday, Feb. 20th.

4.  One word:   COFFEE

5.  Ever seen a live volcano?  I have, right outside my hotel room!

6.  This is a REV3 race, that means all the top pro’s will be there, they will entertain your family AND you will get a huge amount of swag!

7.  Need a little post-race relaxing fun?  How about zip lining along the tree tops of a rain forest?

8.  Gluten Free?  I ate for 7 days with NO problem in Costa Rica.  Rice, beans, and all the fresh and local fruits and veggies you can imagine!!  There were vendors walking along the beach selling freshly sliced pineapple and mangos!

9.  Not into the adventure activities of hiking and zip lining?  How about this instead:

10.  Finally, this will truly be a once in a lifetime experience for your whole family.  It would be cheaper to travel by yourself, but I highly encourage you to bring the whole family.  There will be a kids tri for 9 – 13 year olds (which is FREE and only open to the first 200 registrants!).   REV3 is one of my sponsors and I proudly promote their product because they are trying to change the way races are put on.  They believe in giving you more bang for your buck – lots of swag and tons of race support.   Because the folks putting on the race have families, they understand how important your family is, and put on a race that supports, includes and engages your family too!

Registration will open soon and will be available HERE.  When it is available, use code TRAKKERS113 for a $10 savings.  (works with ANY REV3 race!!)

Just want to say what a great blog you got here!
I’ve been around for quite a lot of time, but finally decided to show my appreciation of your work!

Thumbs up, and keep it going!
